As an avid reader, I'm always looking for the next great book...well, The Others did not disappoint. I was carried away to another planet, filled with people who were looking for an answer. Could the records passed down through generations be true? Did the "Light" truly exist and if so, could Ryen and his team find the evidence they were searching for?The Others takes the reader on a journey filled with adventure, love, betrayal, suspicion, danger, laughter and mystery. The story draws the reader in and unfolds in the mind, as vividly as if it were happening before one's very eyes.
It was difficult to pull myself away from the book, even to go to bed at night. The Others captivated my imagination, continuing into my nightly dreams and even making it's way into my daily ponderings.
Yes, the characters in the story are on a spiritual journey, but is written in a way that is non-threatening, even to the least religious among us.
My recommendation is to READ IT! You will be glad you did.
I can't wait for the next book from this author. Oh, and in my opinion, Hollywood would be remiss if they didn't consider this book for the "big screen." I would say it ranks right up there with The Hunger Games.

I loved reading this book and cannot wait for more! Bryant is a fantastic writer. Her character development was amazing. I always love it when I find myself thinking about the characters when I'm not reading the book, and that's exactly what this book made me do. Grab a copy ASAP, you wont regret it!
What an incredible book filled with inspiration, adventure, and romance! Thoroughly entertaining from the start. Definitely a page-turner! My husband couldn't even get my attention until I finished! You won't be disappointed! LOVED everything about it!!!
This was a great young adult book! Very good read. It was engaging, easy to read, and just overall addicting. I got into it right away and enjoyed it all along the way. I highly recommend this book! And I would love to see it in a movie format!
It took me a while to get into the story but once I did I couldn't put it down until I had finished it. It is left wide open for book two. I sincerely hope you are we working on the sequel. Please don't leave us hanging, Kristin Bryant
This isn't my usual genre of book, but I was pulled in right from the first chapter. I really enjoyed the concept of other worlds, other beings, the struggle and the love story. I was captivated the whole time and had a hard time putting it down. I really hope there will be a sequel!
This is a gripping tale of others from a different planet, searching for the world where Christ lived, and their adventure. The characters and plot line are fascinating, exciting, and make for a really great read. When I got my book in the mail, I couldn't put it down. I have a newborn, a demanding toddler, and older children I homeschool. Forget sleep, this book was too good to put down.
Ok, I loved this book. No, I still love it, present tense. I'm telling my friends to read it. The plot and premise and romance and action were all just perfect, to me anyway. Loved it. Although the book does involve mentions of Jesus Christ as a possible Savior, the book is not... I don't know, super religious? Basically, I think any atheist who likes books that are good would like this book. It is not preachy and the focus is more on character development than on religion.
Just buy the book and read it already!
